We’re getting a few large logs floating intothe club. The river is loaded with largelogs drifting down the river. There are fewhere and there out in the bay now too. Wehave also received reports of a large logjam near downtown Bay City. In short..use caution when navigating..

As a reminder, with the holiday weekend approaching… parking within the yacht club is limited to one vehicle only per shareholder. Any guests or additional vehicles must park outside the club along the roadway in designated parking areas, and use the walk through gates. Thank you.

We have partnered with Norton’s Sealcoating to reseal and crack fill our entire driveway. You will start to see workers from their company beginning work potentially as early as next week, weather permitting. The process will commence with edging the grass, followed by crack filling, during which vehicular traffic will be allowed. However, once the sealing process starts, vehicular traffic will be completely suspended within the club for a few days, and the entry and exit gates will be closed, requiring parking on the road. Freshly sealed areas will be safe for pedestrian traffic after 5 hours of cure time. The contractor expects the sealing process to take several days. Further updates will be forthcoming.

The leak has been repaired, and the water is back on. Thank you for your patience.

We have a water leak in the club. The water will be off for a few days until the repair is made.

If you can, please stick around after the annual meeting and help get the club ready for use.

We need to get the picnic tables out and cleaned, grills cleaned up and ready, ect…

The water is scheduled to be turned on April 23rd. All facility’s should be available for use at that time.

Annual Shareholders Meeting April 25  The Annual Shareholders Meeting will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026.  The meeting will be held in the SSYC Community room and will start at 9:00 am.  Coffee and doughnuts will be provided.

The club is now open with the gates unlocked and electricity turned on. Please note that the water will not be turned on until later in the month so the bathhouses and fish cleaning stations cannot be used. Also, do not forget to submit your mooring form prior to using your slip.
