Volunteers needed! –

There are a variety of tasks that we would like to complete this boating season.   Volunteers are needed to complete these tasks to reduce our operating costs and keep our club looking great.  We need your help!

Below is a list of tasks with a guestimate of the number people needed and time required to complete.  Please sign up on the sheets located on the board between the bath houses on the east and west sides.

  1. Mark lawn sprinklers with the provided spray paint and stencil on roadway.  1 person/two hours.  Contact Don Leidke at 989-751-7356
  • Power wash buildings.  Power washer provided.  1 person/2 hours.  Contact Wayde Konze at 989-750-6932.
  • Paint fence posts and piping.  The preferred painting method is a brush/roller however spray painting is fine with appropriate overspray mitigation.  This will be a big job if brush/rolling and will be scheduled accordioning.  Spray painting should be significantly less time and require fewer people.   Everything will be provided.  Contact Carl Reinhardt at 989-992-6627.

If there is something else you would like to do, please let us know by signing up!

If you have any questions, please contact Carl Reinhardt at 989-992-6627 or any board member.

Annual Shareholder Meeting – April 26 at 9:00 am

There was an error in the flyer that was mailed with the annual invoices regarding the date of the Annual Shareholders Meeting. The Annual Shareholders Meeting will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, not on May 16.  The meeting will be held in the SSYC Community room and will start at 9:00 am.  Coffee and doughnuts will be provided.

Club Closure Reminder – All boats must be out before November 1, 2024 –

As a reminder, all boats must be removed from SSYC by November 1st. All perimeter gates will be chained shut on November 1st and all the club locks will be changed. The main entry and exit gate will remain open for a very short period afterwards for a short period of time so that contractors can complete final winter closure activities.

Also, the club water is now off. Restrooms, pump outs, laundry and the fish cleaning stations are all closed and unavailable for use.
